Join us as we are joined by Gaye and John, owners and operators of Dayboo clydesdale stud based in Ashburton. We caught up with Gaye, John & their team of helpers at the New Zealand ploughing championships held in Riversdale, Southland at the start of April 2021.
I had never met them before, but it was soon obvious that John was a great story teller and Gaye was an amazing horse rider. We discuss everything clydesdale, from ploughing to eventing, lord of the rings stunt riders and more.
This episode has more background noise than most, including a steam engine tractor and jimmy pies being devoured but I hope you agree it helps bring their story to life from beside the horse truck the day I meet them.
